Thai specialties in the heart of Niederdorf, Zurich's old town: welcome to Blue Monkey. In fact, there are two restaurants in one: Blue Monkey on the first floor in a wooded setting, and the very chic Thai Heaven on the second floor. In the kitchen, chef Pachara Thipanancharoen offers authentic gourmet cuisine with multiple influences. The menu features a number of specialties, including khao soy nuea, a kind of egg noodle soup popular in Thailand's mountainous regions, accompanied here by Swiss beef.
