Generous and tasty cuisine in a Chinese restaurant on St. Johann Gate Square in Basel.
On the Square of the impressive St. Johann Gate, Lotus Garden impresses with its varied map and its successful traditional interior. Far from the usual kitsch of Chinese restaurants, even the tablecloths that draw slightly on the rose do not shock. Servings are copious and delicious dishes: taste scampis soup and fish sour sour, you won't be disappointed! The service is attentive and smiling. What more to ask!

Mein 四川鸡肉 war gut und hatte frisches Gemüse. Die Portion war für ein China-Restaurant klein. Die bestellte Sichuan-Schärfe wurde nicht umgesetzt. Es gibt 10 Prozent Rabatt bei Take-Away. Trotzdem ist der Preis mit CHF 23.30 insbesondere für die Menge nicht günstig. Das Personal, teils nicht deutschsprachig, ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Professionelle und schnelle Abwicklung der Bestellung. Die Atmosphäre ist etwas angestaubt, aber sehr reinlich.

Leider bekommt man nicht das was man bestellt, ich esse sehr gerne scharf, dass ist anscheinend generell in chinesischen Restaurant schwer umzusetzen, obwohl ich das mehrfach erwähnt habe in diesem Fall!!!! Der SERVICE ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Portionen werden immer kleiner, dafür ist das Essen definitiv zu teuer, sehr schade!

Das Essen war hervorragend und äusserst smackhaft. Wir hatten 5 verschiedene Hauptgerichte zum teilen, welche alle 10/10 waren. Auch das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.
