Abbiamo assaggiato la Fonduta che era una goduria .
I prezzi sono in linea con la Svizzera
Però se siete a Basilea vale la pena assaggiare il loro piatto forte ????

Perfect!
The food wad delicious, the service was great, the place was warm and cozy during a cold raining night.
We had a raclette and a fondue and it's was very good.
If you're in Basel, you need to stop by and taste the Swiss food there.

Allergiker kommen hier leider nicht auf ihre Kosten. Bei Nachfrage ob es auch Laktose Freie Gerichte gibt wird man darauf hingewiesen dass hier klassische schweizerische Küche gekocht wird und alle Gerichte Laktose haben.
Das macht Laune, wenn man als Gastronom gar keinen Einfallsreichtum besitzt.
Eine Pfeffersauce kann man durchaus auch laktosefrei hinbekommen.

Disappointed is the best word. Went for dinner with high expectations due to previous reviews, but it's just not it. The waiter was impatient (God knows why) and was pulling faces all night long. The food was mediocre at best - and way too expensive. We paid 150chf for a fondue, two main meals, 2 beers and 2 cokes. The fondue was ok (not the best), the Wiener Schnitzel was soggy. The owner lady was nice until we paid and didn't leave a tip - very simply because a tip to me means I received something exceptional. Either exceptional service, or food. Neither which was the case here. She then didn't even bother to say goodbye back.

Un lugar acogedor. La atención de 10 el chico súper atento y al pendiente de cómo estábamos. El risotto delicioso y el fondue riquísimo. Recomendado. Lugar céntrico y fácil de encontrar.

Wir waren dort an einem Samstag essen und hatten reserviert, der Tisch (Vierertisch) war bereits vorbereitet (auf einem Teller waren getrocknete Käsereste). Wir wurden von einer älteren Dame unfreundlich empfangen. (Der Grund ist uns unerklärlich). Sie war von Beginn an genervt und wirkte mit uns als Gästen unzufrieden (vielleicht da wir nicht dem Stammklientel von ü60 entsprachen). Das Lokal war gut gefüllt und relativ laut. Wir haben uns ein Käsefondue bestellt (p.P. à 35 CHF, eher teuer, dafür aber lecker). Dies ging relativ schnell. Im Laufe des Abends kam eine junge Gruppe Spanierinnen (Jungfernabschied), folglich nicht schick, diese wurden im Gegensatz zu uns äußerst freundlich und mit akzeptablem Englisch empfangen.
Die ältere Dame setzte gegen Ende, als wir beim Nachtisch waren, ohne zu fragen, oder es anzukündigen, einen weiteren Gast an unseren Tisch. Dies empfanden wir und er als äußerst unangenehm, was der Kellnerin egal war, denn sie kommentierte dies mit: "Der beißt ja nicht. ".
Dementsprechend war unser Abend früher beendet als gedacht.

Dropped in from the street with no reservation ahead. Had a wonderful swiss meal, with lovely fondue and a surprisingly tasty veal&rosti, all perfectly balanced with a plum sorbet drizzled with a plumb brandy. The staff was always trying to help and understand our needs, being curteous and efficient. House wine didn't disappoint but was nothing fancy, as it should be. Yes, the food in Basel is expensive but the experience and warmth of the people that man this place surely make up for it, in a homy atmosphere. The kitchen communicates with thw parolur so you hear and smell everything you're about to eat, some of the smells sticking to the clothes, but nobody seemed to mind over the laughter and good time.

Super für jeden der nach unkomplizierter traditioneller schweizer Küche und Ambiente sucht. Rösti, Käsefondue und einschlägige Fleischspezialitäten erhältlich, dazu eine große Auswahl an Vor- und Nachspeisen. Die Tatsache, dass ich über das online Formular aus Versehen nur für 1 statt für 5 reserviert habe wurde vom Personal professionell gelöst.

Hier bekommt man das beste Käse-Fondue in Basel. Schon seit Jahrzehnten ist das meine erste Adresse. Preis Leistung top, Ambiente top, Service top. Für nicht Käse-Fondue-Liebhaber gibt es die passendenden traditionellen Schweizer Gerichte. Passt alles. Bitte weiter so!

Small, centrally located restaurant right next to a tram stop. Cozy environment that makes you comfortable while dining. Staff are quite polite. Food are in big portions and is quite good.
