Delicious pizzas and Italian cuisine in an outstanding restaurant on the corner of Wettsteinplatz in Basel.
On a giant carousel! Around the corner from Wettsteinplatz, you'll leave Switzerland for Italy when you open the door to Resslirytti. The singing accent and warm welcome of the restaurant's staff leave no room for doubt. A slightly retro carousel atmosphere, where wooden horses rub shoulders with exposed stone walls and colorful friezes reminiscent of carnival. A must are the pizzas, with their thin, crispy dough and wood-fired oven. Two affordable menus are offered daily. Quite busy in the evenings and at weekends.

Es war ziemliche laut, wir fragten nach einem Tisch im vorderen Bereich, aber es wurde abgelehnt, obwohl niemandem anderes kam, und auch nicht reserviert. Schade, nicht sehr kundenfreundlich!

An einem Dienstag Lunch gegessen. Nicht überfüllt. Viele 2er Tische vorhanden. Täglich 1 Menu und a la carte. Pizza war sehr gut, hat aber ihren Preis. Eine Extra-Auflage kostet 3.50(!) Franken. Ich wünschte mir, dass es auch kleine Pizzas gäbe, da sie für mich viel zu gross sind. Service war nett und aufmerksam. Im Sommer gibt es die Möglichkeit draussen zu sitzen, allerdings nur mit Verkehrsatmosphäre inklusive.

War beruflich eine Woche im Hotel. Ideal, das ein Restaurant dabei ist. Sehr rar sind Parkplätze. Musste 700 Meter in einem teuren Parkhaus parken. Das ist nicht ideal.
