HISTORY MUSEUM

It deserves a small visit both for its contents and for the building that houses it. It is in fact installed in the home of General Hazi Aslanov, one of the two major military personalities from the city (the other general born in Lankaran is Samedbey Mehmandarov). The exhibits are comparable to those of other provincial museums: objects from archaeological excavations, newspaper clippings and images of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the reconstitution of a typical interior of the Mugan region.
