The mausoleum complex around Saoddat, or "invincible", was built between the 11th and 17th centuries. A central alley, originally 200 m long, leads to the gateway of the complex, lavishly decorated with blue ceramics in geometric patterns. To the left, a mosque; to the right, in a crypt, is the tomb of Emir Hussein. Today, some 50 metres of the original alleyway remain. A flight of stairs takes you to the roof of the mausoleum on the right, giving you a bird's-eye view of the whole complex.
