The ChorSu covered market is accessible via four gates. It was built at the crossroads of trade routes. Its architecture is typical of bazaars: a square brick plan topped by an octagon with a central dome, with no particular decoration, but with a bold visual effect from the outside. It is similar to those in Bukhara. Good to know: the baths, rebuilt on the site of the 15th-century baths, are still in use today, heated by a sophisticated network of underground pipes.
