Registan Square is magnificent at any time of the day or night, but it's true that it has a special cachet in the evening, when it's illuminated. During the high tourist season, a sound and light show takes place from 9pm onwards, recounting the great adventure of the Uzbeks and the epic of Tamerlane. Even if we prefer the sobriety of a classic lighting show, this is an event not to be missed, especially if you're staying in the old town. You'll be immersed in the magic of the Thousand and One Nights on the Silk Road.
