Simple and pleasant decoration in a cosy atmosphere. The dishes are good and rather hearty with a wide choice of chicken and beef recipes as well as some fish recipes. It doesn't change much from the Uzbek and Russian cuisine, but it is a reliable and long-lasting address in Samarkand, and has the added advantage of not being frequented by hordes of tourist buses. The atmosphere is therefore not necessarily the warmest in the world but has the merit of being authentic. Friendly and helpful staff.

Il semble qu'il y ait 2 restaurants Old City à Samarcande.Celui-ci est un petit restaurant pas loin du Venezia. Deux petites salles claires, restaurant propre, personnel très accueillant. Nous avons mangé du mouton en papillote très bon. A midi le restaurant était très calme.
