OLD TEA FACTORY

This old factory was set up by the Chinese cooperation during the 1st Republic. Green and black tea was grown, dried, sorted and packed here. The factory closed down at the end of the 1st Republic, and the workers left with all the machines they could carry. One can still see the disused buildings, the workers' housing estate with a kolatier in its yard and the janitor's small family (what is left to keep, no one knows), and especially the tea plantations. The factory is located 5 km away on the road to the airport.
