The Mamou crossroads is a well-known place for local travelers to take a meal break when coming from Conakry. Next to the usual gargotes, Mariama Cissé's restaurant offers good hearty dishes, among which of course the Senegalese thiéboudiène holds a good place. You can choose to eat inside or watch the comings and goings on its airy terrace. Fast and nice service. It is also an opportunity to taste the flavors of local drinks made with hibiscus flowers, ginger or baobab fruits. Exotic !
