MONT KAKOULIMA

This imposing mountain is easily visible from Conakry. It rises to 1,107 m directly above sea level. Mount Kakoulima is located a little to the east of the mount known as "du Chien qui fume", in a chain that starts towards Dubréka and continues after Coyah. The ascent can be done on foot or by car, but some parts are inaccessible because of the presence of a military base at the top. You can start the excursion in Manéah, before Coyah and take a nice walk or bike ride in the valley between the two main chains.
