Opened in October 2014, this state-of-the-art concert hall boasts the best acoustics in Poland and has become one of the symbols of the city's revival. The Polish Radio National Orchestra, founded in Warsaw in 1935 and recreated in Katowice in 1945 after being disbanded by the Nazis in 1939, performs here. If you get the chance, be sure to catch one of the performances, which are very popular throughout Poland and rather difficult to get to.
