The Wrocław Opera House, located in the Old Town of Wrocław, Poland, is a renowned opera company. Opened in 1841, it bore the city's German name, Oper Breslau, until 1945. The opera house has a 600-seat capacity and a classical architectural style. Architects Carl Ferdinand Langhans, Carl Johann Lüdecke and Karl Schmidt contributed to its design. The opera house also offers educational workshops for spectators with tickets for the first balcony. Wrocław Opera is a cultural institution supported by local and national government.
