CHURCH OF THE BARN GARDENS (SANKTUARIUM MATKI BOŻEJ)

The Bernardins monastery complex is a famous place of pilgrimage that houses a priceless collection of sacred art, such as a statue of the Virgin Mary from the early 16th century, to which many miracles are attributed. The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes from the second half of the 19th century. Its altar, beautiful and covered with gold leaf, dates from the late Renaissance. Do not miss the altar of the Holy Cross in the corridor connecting the church to the monastery.
