LUBOMIRSKI CASTLE (ZAMEK LUBOMIRSKI)

Lubomirski Castle dates back to the end of the 16th century. Although the building has changed a lot since then, the entrance tower and the bastions have remained intact. The gate tower, with its six floors, reaches 55 meters and dominates the city. Until 1981 it was used as a prison, especially for political prisoners of the communist regime. After extensive renovation work, it now houses the city's court of justice, symbolizing better days.
