PARISH CHURCH (KOŚCIÒŁ FARNY)

The Church of Saints Wojciech and Stanisław is the oldest in the city and includes some simply stunning carved ensembles inside. It dates from the 15th century, but only the choir and its Gothic vault are original. Most of the church was rebuilt in the 1750s, and the interior furnishings date from that period. Initially it was an integral part of the city's defensive system, being adjacent to the walls.
