Mountain and winter sports Szczawnica

The departure station of the chairlift is in the city center, not far from ul. Główna. The chairlift leads to the top of the Palenica peak, an excellent starting point for hiking in the Pieniny or skiing. At the top, there is also a toboggan for bobsledding, which is very popular among children (and big kids, it's not every day you get the chance). The slide is open from April to the end of November and you will have to pay 8 zł to go down.
