The port was built between 1926 and 1930. Since its construction, it has served two purposes: fishing and leisure. You can rent a motorboat for a trip to Puck, or take a boat to explore Gdynia. You can also stroll along one of the three overhangs on either side of the harbor. As soon as winter sets in, the water in the bay freezes over, and fishing activities migrate to Hel. In the town of Jastarnia, many hotels are located close to the port.
