ST. NICHOLAS CATHEDRAL (KATEDRA MIKOŁAJA. ŚW)

Originally built in the ^13th century in Gothic style - making it the city's oldest church - it was subsequently transformed several times during the ups and downs of its existence and the affronts of war, resulting in the typically Polish coexistence of Renaissance and Baroque styles. Outside, you can see the last vestiges of the medieval city walls, destroyed in the ^19th century by the Prussian authorities.
