This very large museum, housed in a Soviet-era building, is located on the other side of Lake Jelonek, overlooking the city, which is also very pleasant to walk around before or after your visit, weather permitting. The museum features numerous objects, paintings and videos tracing Poland's history from its origins during the reign of the Piast dynasty to the 19th century. The museography is modern and playful.

Musée intéressant contenant entre autre, divers objets issus ,des fouilles (que j'ai eu la chance de visiter) réalisées tout près et qui retracent l'histoire de la Pologne de son berceau, jusqu'au XIXe siècle.
