CASTLE OF THE TEUTONIC KNIGHTS

Built in the second half of the ^14th century, the castle was burnt down during the Second World War. It was rebuilt and today represents one of the most impressive buildings in the area. With its red brickwork and imposing architecture, it's a must-see for lovers of medieval buildings. Today, it houses an independent museum, which acts as a historical museum for the town and region of Ostróda.
