A permanent exhibition entitled «Chopin in his home country and abroad» presents his personal affairs and manuscripts. This palace also houses the company Frédéric Chopin, founded in 1934, which organizes, among other things, every 5 years, the prestigious bayonet contest Frédéric Chopin. By creating in 1927 (this is the oldest piano contest) pianist Jerzy Zurawlew wanted to promote Chopin's music and to confront different styles of interpretation.
