POZAS EL CISNE
We are weighing our words: one of the most pleasant unknown corners on the northern coast of Honduras. It is a waterfall spread into small pools where it is good to bathe in a superb site. You can climb, climb, grass, relax, relax… Think of taking a picnic to take full advantage of this enchanting place, away from tourist routes.
To get there, the best is to see Chaz de la Casa Kiwi. However, here are some details: the trail leaves behind the stadium. Take a path on the right after a few hundred meters (shortly after this path, there is a pulpería on the left). Continue to a first door: take left and follow the pipeline. We get to a second door that needs to be crossed. Then you walk through the pipeline on a visible trail. A first path to the right, towards a pleasant basin; first stop possible, if not ignore it and continue straight for about minutes, a little less if you walk quickly, until a kind of natural fork: a palm tree rises in the middle. To find you, note that the path on the left then suddenly rises in lacets and the soil becomes muddy. At the fork level, turn right: Small informal path, less obvious than the great left path but which leads to the foot of the first basin in two minutes. You can climb the stones on the right to reach a second basin and have a superb view over the waterfall. Take care where you dive: the big rock in the first basin, for example, there is not much space downstairs!
