Sambo Creek is a Garifuna village (culture declared heritage of mankind), typical of the northern coast of Honduras. It is located at the mouth of a river: Wooden houses, pains, fish, beach with open sea… A very picturesque visit. You can enjoy traditional Garifuna cuisine. For example, ask the restaurants of Kay Place or Kavasa. Many excursions for the small paradise islands of Cayos Cochinos depart from Sambo Creek.
