The 30 000 hectares of the National Park Number of Dios are neighbours of the imposing Pico Bonito National Park. It is accessed from the river Cangrejal (which also delineates the two parks). It includes the communities of Corozal, Sambo Creek, Cocoa and Nueva Armenia. In the east of La Ceiba, it is possible to make a pleasant excursion to the Río María. beautiful waterfalls and natural pools (called Los Chorros by the locals) where it is possible to take a good bath bath. To get there, you must take a bus to Sambo Creek or Jutiapa and get off at the bridge (km 207,5).
