FESTIVAL GASTRONÓMICO DEL CHORO Y EL VINO

This gastronomic festival of the mushroom (el choro) and wine takes place every year over three days: tank parades, concerts and cuerda concerts (traditional instruments), fireworks, carnival, culinary tastings, balloon launches… Choro is an edible fungus that grows following the first rains in the surrounding hills, and has become a characteristic element of the identity and economic development of the lenca culture.
