Natural site to discover

MUSEO PARA LA IDENTIDAD NACIONAL DE HONDURAS

Museums

The Museum of Honduran National Identity is one of Tegucigalpa's must-sees. A visit is a great opportunity to discover the country's contemporary artists, as well as Honduran history and culture. The exhibitions are interactive and very interesting. In particular, there's a short film on the Mayan ruins of Copán, a kind of virtual tour of the site. A place that's well worth a visit, located in a superb historic building, a former hospital that has been magnificently restored and maintained.
