AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL TONCONTIN

Toncontin International Airport is located 6 km from the centre on the south road to Choluteca. Traffic is much less than in San Pedro Sula, a privileged access point for North Americans who immediately gain the islands of the Bay or the ruins of Copán.
There are car rental, a Hondutel centre (open daily from a. m. to p. m.), a snack and a souvenir store. The BGA bank changes cash and traveller's cheques and advances money on the Visa card (open weekdays from 9 am to 16 pm and from 13 am to 30 pm). You can take a taxi for the centre or a local bus just opposite. If you leave Honduras, don't forget to pay the US $ 38 tax (you will be remembered anyway!).
