SITIO ARQUEOLÓGICO DE QUELEPA

8 kilometres northeast of San Miguel, a circuit can lead you to the Précolombiens ruins of Quelepa. It is an important settlement site of the Lenca civilization which today lives in the mountains of western Honduras on the border with El Salvador. His name means "jaguar of stone."
