TROPICAL VIEW

If you're exploring the Miskito village of Awás (a short, pretty walk and bike ride from the village of Laguna de Perlas), stop for lunch at the Tropical View restaurant: it has a beautiful view over the lagoon, and serves local cuisine (including shrimp and fish, but also meat). The music is pleasant and the atmosphere warm and relaxed. What's more, you can take a dip in the lagoon right after your meal, diving straight off the dock.
