FINCA ESPERANZA VERDE

Natural reserve and coffee plantations located 30 km east of Matagalpa at 1 200 meters above sea level. Magnificent walking or horse hikes in cloud moist forests bordering the mountain: monkeys, butterflies and more than 150 do of birds can be observed. It is possible to participate in the coffee process from December to February. Finca Esperanza Verde was founded in 1998 by the community of Dhurman-San Ramon sisters, a community project led by American volunteers and Nicaraguan employees.
