In a listed customs house, there are exhibitions on hunting and scientific research in the polar regions, as well as photos of Amundsen's expeditions. In the summer many activities for children are organized. Go to their website to plan your visit and book places. Permanent exhibition on what Svalbard was like in the 17th and 18th centuries. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions.

Open from mid-June to mid-August 7 days a week in summer from 9am to 7pm, the rest of the year from 11am to 5pm. Admission: NOK 100, children under 18 free.

Musée très intéressant pourquoi qui est curieux de l'histoire de la pêche et de la chasse en Norvège septentrionale. A mi parcours ,une terrasse sur le port permet de s'installer un moment pourquoi lire le fascicule prêté à l'entrée. Vraiment un endroit sympa pour tous.
