Hellesylt is a small village at the head of Norway's Sunnylvsfjord. Surrounded by mountains and valleys, it offers a magnificent natural setting. In summer, the village welcomes several thousand tourists every day, mainly to visit the Geirangerfjord. Most visitors take the ferry to Geiranger, which runs every half-hour during the summer season. Hellesylt is therefore an ideal starting point for exploring this famous branch of the Storfjord.
