In the hotel, there is also a small old living room with red velvet curtains, and a very bright dining room with bay windows overlooking the lake. Half board is available. The hotel was founded by Thor Hjelle in 1896. The setting is beautiful with the historic building, the lake next door and the glaciers in the distance. The rooms have all the necessary comfort and the reception is very friendly. The breakfast is of excellent quality.
