Open Monday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., June 1 to August 31. Open the rest of the year Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm.
Message from Management
The Stavanger area has a lot to offer - the city with its spectacular street art, the Stavanger Art Museum, some of Norway's best restaurants, museums for all ages, Old Stavanger, Stavanger Cathedral and the street of colors, Fargegaten. All of this is close to countless green islands in Finnøy and Rennesøy, including the absolute gem of an island in the middle of the ocean, Kvitsøy.
If you move further south, and into the fjords, you will find Sandnes, with one of Norway's most famous natural icons, Kjerag Rock. The contrasts are great as you move further south along the beaches of Jæren and the Norwegian scenic route Jæren, with the ever-changing light that has inspired artists since the dawn of time, the mountains, waterfalls and fjords in majestic harmony and the lunar landscape of the UNESCO Magma World Geopark, and last but not least, a winter wonderland in Sirdal. You won't be disappointed.
