It exhibits interesting, mainly contemporary paintings and also crafts. The Haugar Art Museum overlooks the city, although located in the heart of the city, in a former maritime college surrounded by greenery. The brick building impresses with its grandeur. Created by the work of the architects Bjerke & Eliassen, it was built in 1918. Recently, the museum presented Andy Warhol's works.
