Tucked away at the southern end of Cabano, Bouamama was first and foremost a hotel project, but it's not (or only marginally) operational, with its large wooden houses resembling Alpine chalets. They seem to have fallen into disrepair. However, the pleasant location is well worth a visit, especially for its beach. For MRU 100 per person and MRU 500 per day for a tent, you can spend some time with family or friends. Remember to bring your own food and water!
