JINGHPAW HTU

A wooden terrace on stilts at the water's edge. Jinghpaw Htu is a famous and very popular place to enjoy kachin specialties. Be careful, there is no menu in English, so you have to point out what you want to eat. One of the traditional dishes: on a bed of banana leaves, a grilled fish in the middle, and all around, vegetables, prepared salads, small skewers. Fried smelts, fried rice, bamboo salad, tea leaf salad or spinach with peanuts. So much flavour under this wooden hut!
