MONSIEUR WOK

You have to go along the river south of the village to reach this beautiful address. The bucolic walk brings us to Mr. Wok's house. The restaurant blends into the nature. Under the straw mattresses, the small tables are made of bamboo, others, magnificent, made of solid wood. Mr. Wok worked as a chef in a five-star hotel in Mandalay before opening this "simply delicious" little gem, as it says. Shan cuisine, fresh, local and tasty at a very low price. And above all, in a soothing and pleasant atmosphere at the water's edge.
