Nothing amazing about this central, aging country lodge, but decent rooms with air conditioning, mosquito nets, functional bathrooms, a set of vintage bedspreads and curtains. A garden with tables is nice enough, but the restaurant serves excellent local food. Lots of mosquitoes on the other hand and high prices for the standard offered, but there is not much choice in Mongu and the staff is very friendly. There is a shopping center not far from this hotel. Guarded parking.
