There are few luxury bush camps in North Luangwa National Park, Takwela is one, opened in 2019 and signed Remote Africa, which can therefore offer combined stays with the camps of South Luangwa. We enjoy the spectacle of wildlife that comes to drink in the wafwa in front (lagoon of an ancient river), but also lions, leopards and elephants numerous and wild dogs (with luck). The camp consists of 4 reed and straw huts at the confluence of the Mwaleshi and Luangwa rivers, where over 450 hippos live.
