LUANG NAMTHA MUSEUM

Located in the north of the city, the provincial museum of Luang Namtha exhibits a collection of objects related to history and culture: traditional clothes of different ethnic minorities, religious objects, tools, khmu drums, coins, ancient weapons... Nice little collection of Buddha statues too. A part of the museum is dedicated to the Laotian revolution. Photos are forbidden inside the museum. Interesting to learn a little about the province but only worth a quick visit (count a little less than 30 minutes).
