VAT SI CHOM CHAENG & VAT KOK KHOR

The Vat Si Chom Chaeng, built in 1560, is one of the oldest in the region and offers a beautiful view of the Mekong River. It is decorated with a fresco and the recently built stupa houses venerated relics. A century-old drum can also be seen. The more recent Vat Kok Khor is nearby. It is a good opportunity to stretch your legs at the end of the day, after a long boat trip, and come and watch the sunset.
