Just after the bridge, there is a nice bar-restaurant which also organizes excursions in the surroundings. The Q bar is located in a wooden building with 2 floors, a billiard table, games... On the kitchen side, you can enjoy local specialities, including the famous Laotian barbecue, but also western dishes, salads, etc. The atmosphere is relaxed and quite young. On the bar side, good cocktails to be tasted during happy hour, as well as Lao beer of course. A friendly place where you can spend the evening meeting other travellers.
