Chen Lin is a Chinese painter from Nanjing. This former plastic art teacher went to Laos almost 8 years ago and has since opened a workshop on Khoun Bouloum, not far from the Vat Vat. You can admire (and buy) its numerous oil paintings illustrating local scenes, in soft and warm tones. Black and white sketches are also available for sale. His blog is in Chinese only, but you can have an overview of his talent. Go, his works are really worth a look.
