The open-air hall of the Taj Mahal is not an eye-catcher with its plastic chairs and basic furnishings, without air conditioning. However, this halal-certified restaurant enjoys a very good reputation. It offers quality North Indian cuisine with the famous tandooris, various curries, naans and other byrianis. Many vegetarian options are also available. The prices are reasonable and the service efficient and friendly. If it is not a palace, this small restaurant is still very nice for lunch.
