AÉROPORT INTERNATIONAL DE WATTAY

The airport is located 3 km northwest of the city center, on the road to Luang Prabang. There are two terminals, one for domestic flights and a newer one for international flights. There is a Lao Airlines office and a currency exchange office, open according to flight departures and arrivals. Upstairs, restaurants, stores... To reach the city center, a cab costs about 70 000 kips (cab office, at the exit of the arrivals hall).
