Travel Guide Qabr Nabi Houd

This city, located 70 km from Tarim, houses the tomb of the Prophet Houd. It is a place of pilgrimage. According to the texts, Houd was sent by God, before Islam, to rescue the people Ad. The Ad, very poor, died of hunger and God took them in mercy. Through the prophet Houd, God gave them a camel that would provide his work force and adequate milk, a camel that it was forbidden to kill ever.
