The difficult track from Manakha to Hoteib became a road in 1998 and the cars now travel these 8 kilometers easily, in sumptuous landscapes. Hoteib is the tomb of the third Yemeni dai, Hatim Al Hamidi, in a small building in the middle of a courtyard surrounded by eucalyptus. It is one of the main pilgrimage sites for the Ismailis in Yemen. Nearby, a mountain peak supports a white little mosque. A feeling crosses the village and leads to a charming point of view on the surrounding mountains (attention, it crosses a field of cactus). At the entrance to the village you can enjoy another interesting panorama, from a flat rock overhanging a vacuum. There is no accommodation in Hoteib for tourists. The hotel only welcomes the pilgrims.
